The iPad Air starts at 399 for the 16GB Wi-Fi-only model, with the price jumping by 80 every time you bump the storage up a level. The iPad Mini starts at 319 for the 16GB Wi-Fi only edition. Like the Air, each additional storage tier adds another 80 to the price.

Winner - iPad Mini 2 is the cheaper option, as it's smaller.
