Bringing ideas to life: How to have better ideas in business

HP is the ultimate start-up, and one of the great innovators of the technology industry. It's also always been at the heart of creativity, thanks to its involvement in print and production.

That's why in association with HP Alphr and IT Pro have put together a series of articles on brainstorming developing and presenting ideas.

For start-ups, in particular, developing and pitching ideas is incredibly important. Whether you're developing the idea for a product or service, or pitching to a potential investor, you need to have something that is well thought through and stands out.

But if you've never started a business before, you probably won't have these kinds of skills. That's why we've developed this series of articles. We'll be adding one every day over the coming week, on different themes:

  • How do you know if you have a good idea?
  • Perfect pitching: How do you sell a business idea?
  • Idea development: Brainstorming, workshopping and beyond
  • The right tools for the job: How what you use affects how your idea develops
  • "It looked better on paper!" The psychology of presenting ideas
