Economy takes down Nvidia's Nvision show
The credit crunch takes another victim as Nvidia's previously successful Nvision event is cancelled this year.

Nvidia has announced it will not be holding the Nvision conference this year due to the economic downturn.
Last year, the graphics industry event debuted successfully with demos, a conference on developing computer graphics-related technlogies, talks from notable industry professionals and celebrity guests - including the Mythbusters and Galactica star Tricia Helfer.
A spokesperson from Nvidia said: "Our inaugural Nvision, which drew nearly 10,000 people, was a highlight for Nvidia, San Jose, and the computing industry in an otherwise challenging 2008. It blew away our expectations."
However, the company believes the economic crisis will prevent people from travelling to the event and instead is planning something different.
"This year we plan to focus our attention on the core of the GPU development community with a more concentrated event."
Details of the smaller event, and the future of Nvision, will be announced soon.
