Rightmove unveils iPhone app

Rightmove iPhone app

Rightmove this week launched an iPhone application that'll provide users with access to more than one million sales and rental deals at the press of an icon.

In addition to providing instant search capabilities, the free application, also makes use of GPS to pinpoint a user's location and deliver results from that area.

Details listed are similar to the traditional version of the site, with price information, property specifics and photos and agent contact data which can be turned into a phone call with just a tap.

"Over the last decade, Rightmove has been dedicated to helping homemovers find their dream home whilst keeping the user experience simple and quick," said Rightmove's commercial director Miles Shipside, in a statement.

"The Rightmove iPhone app will add a new dimension to the way people can search for property and means users can now have instant, location-targeted access to the UK's number one property website."

A video below shows a demo of the new application, which was developed by 2ergo is available immediately from both the App Store and Rightmove's website.

Just yesterday, it was revealed that T-Mobile is believed to be offering iPhone 3G handsets to its top customers.
