Palm Pre OS 1.3.1 update imminent
Palm Pre owners in Europe can expect an automatic update to their devices in the next few days.

Palm has said that owners of the Palm Pre on Telefonica networks will receive an update to their handset's operating system in the next few days.
This includes customers on O2 in the UK, as well as owners in Ireland, Germany and Spain.
Palm said the update will happen automatically over the air when in range of a Wi-Fi or 3G network, and no user intervention is required. The update takes webOS from version 1.1.3 up to 1.3.1.
In a blog post, the company said that the update adds a new Facebook for Palm application as well as support for LinkedIn and Yahoo contacts. It also brings improvements for email and messaging and users will now be able to forward messages in the messaging app.
There are many other minor updates and bug fixes, and a full list of the changes can be read on the Palm website.
