Orange animals migrate to mobile broadband

Orange

Orange has announced it is extending its animal plans, including Panther, Dolphin and Racoon, to mobile broadband customers from today.

Dolphin Mobile Broadband will be on offer from 15 a month with a Happy Hour option providing the user with unlimited internet surfing for that timeframe. This service can be enjoyed in designated slots of 8am-9am, 12-1pm, 4pm-5pm or 10pm-11pm.

Business employees will most likely be more drawn to Panther Mobile Broadband, which starts at 25 a month and offers either 10GB or unlimited data a month, excluding any SMS sent or data roaming abroad.

The Racoon option, aimed at people who only want light surfing capabilities, starts at 5 a month, although this tariff is only available to existing Orange mobile customers.

Asif Aziz, director of broadband and home at Orange UK, said in a statement: "Our mobile animal plans have been extremely popular as they allow customers to quickly select the right package which is best for them - so we've decided to extend these to our mobile broadband range making it easier for customers to find the tariff that meets their digital needs and which is best suited to their personal lifestyle."

The news comes after a dongle tracker survey from YouGov ranked Orange as the top mobile broadband provider in the UK for the third quarter in a row.
