IDF 2010: A glimpse at Intel's R&D efforts

The day before Intel's annual developer conference kicks off, the company gave us a sneak peak on what it is working on.

4. One such product being developed is for drivers. The technology will not only recognise the driver entering a car, making theft more difficult, but also track the driver's movements, ensuring they are concentrating and not driving when tired.

5. Finally, the company showcased its work on augmented reality for mobile devices, promising to combine the camera on a smartphone with the information from Wikipedia and images from Google.
