3 revamps iPad pricing
In a similar move to Orange, 3 brings its iPad pricing down.
Apple's flagship tablet device will now be available from the mobile provider for as little as 199, but customers need to stump up for a two year 25 per month contract to get the discounted price.
This means, overall, a customer would end up paying 799 for the 16GB version, instead of the 529 it costs to buy the device up front from Apple's online store.
For the same contract price, 3 is also offering the 32GB version for 249 and the 64GB for 349. This includes a 15GB data allowance.
For those who want to opt for pay as you go contracts, customers have the choice of one month rolling contracts at 7.50 a month for 1GB or 15 for 10GB, or 1GB for 30 days at 10 and 3GB for 30 days at 20.
The new pricing structure is similar to Orange's, which announced its new tariffs earlier this week. However, Orange is charging 27 for new customers and 25 for existing users rather than the flat 25 on offer from 3.
