IT PRO goes to HP’s supercomputer centre

We went inside HP's HPC centre in Grenoble to see why businesses might want to invest in supercomputing.

The tech giant plans to introduce an extra 3,000 nodes in the coming months, signaling HP is serious about HPC.

Once customers have signed up for an HPC project, HP not only provides the equipment but offers support before, during and after deployment.

Of course, they have to sell the idea to customers first so the show rooms in Grenoble show off how supercomputing deployments could help businesses:

Businesses will be able to take advantage of HP expertise both at the HPC EMEA Competency Centre and on their own premises.

Not only can they gain help understanding what architecture and solutions design suits them best, they can learn about new and future generations of HP and Intel HPC technology.
