Fintech firms are some of the best startups to work for in the UK, a Tech Nation-backed report has found.

Startups like Revolut and also offer the most roles for job seekers, according to tech recruitment firm Otta and its annual 'Rocket lLst'.

The list, which includes input from Tech Nation, features 50 of the UK's most promising early-stage businesses and 47% of them are fintech companies. These were also cited as firms more likely to hire, with startups like Revolut currently posting 79 vacancies.

The 50 companies have been selected based on their level of financial investments, job listings, employee growth and their own mission statements. Collectively, the startups have raised £2.1 billion in funding and 2,695 jobs.

This is the third year in a row that Revolut has made the Rocket List due to its consistent growth and hiring. The challenger bank has been one of the few businesses continuing to post job listings throughout the pandemic, advertising 327 jobs throughout 2020 - more than any other scale-up, according to Otta.
