Sapphire Systems has announced it has acquired SAP Business ByDesign partner InCloud Solutions, as the digital operating platform provider looks to strengthen its ERP offering and accelerate growth.

Announcing the takeover, the firm said the move will expand its Business ByDesign expertise, as well as help consolidate its position as a market-leading SAP partner.

A successful SAP Business ByDesign partner, InCloud Solutions offers a portfolio of SAP aligned products that will enable Sapphire to strengthen its ByDesign capabilities, as well as benefit from its team of skilled employees.

Supported by Horizon Capital, the deal becomes Sapphire’s third of 2021, following the recent acquisitions of ITOM Solution and Pioneer B1. The purchases form part of the provider’s strategy to fast track growth both organically and through acquisition.

The firm said the addition of InCloud Solutions aligns the company’s vision to become a leader in the provision of digital operating platforms and enterprise software applications.

"As part of the accelerated growth strategy we announced last year, this latest acquisition will strengthen and expand our SAP practice, bringing further expertise and experience to our growing client base," commented Ian Caswell, Sapphire Systems CEO.

SAP Business ByDesign provides an intelligent, end-to-end, cloud-based ERP solution that can adapt for the long term. By serving up the right information at the right time, the solution allows businesses to become more agile and responsive while enabling more profitable opportunities.

Sapphire said it will also accelerate InCloud’s growth through its scale and reach, while its own expanded portfolio will enable a deeper engagement with clients as they begin their digital transformation journey.

"SAP Business ByDesign is a market-leading native cloud-specific ERP solution perfectly aligned to the digital economy we're fast becoming accustomed to," said Bob Atkinson, Managing Director at InCloud Solutions.

"We are delighted to become part of the Sapphire team; we slot perfectly into their culture, strategy and vision of the future as we strive to help our clients accelerate their shift away from current processes towards a digitally operated and cohesive format."
