Dell extends Payment Flexibility Programme

Tech giant will helping business to continue to navigate the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic

Dell has announced that it is extending its Payment Flexibility Programme for partners and customers, as the firm looks to continue helping business navigate the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The programme will now run until 30th October 2020, while payment deferrals have been extended until 2021.

Launched back in April alongside $9 billion in financing help, the programme is designed to help customers mitigate the financial impact of the pandemic through additional financing options.

"The Payment Flexibility Program is unmatched in its value to organisations in every aspect," said Dell financial services president Bill Wavro. "From payment deferrals to partner relief programs to low rate financing offers, we are here to help and best prepared to assist customers with flexible IT solutions."

Dell also revealed that it is introducing new updates to its Technology Rotation payment solution, which it says includes the lowest rate and total cost of ownership (TCO) ever for PowerStore storage arrays, PowerEdge servers, as well as Dell computers.

"At the end of the term, customers have the flexibility to return and upgrade their equipment with the latest technology to support hybrid cloud, on-premises workloads, or remote workforce initiatives," Wavro added.

The tech firm says the program will better help customers control IT costs thanks to significant tech savings, as well as the option to defer payment until 2021.

There are also extended payments on servers and storage using up to two fixed 12-month extensions for flexibility to return or acquire hardware over five years, while Anytime Upgrades enable the expansion and enhancement of PowerStore performance when required.

The new Technology Rotation updates are available in addition to the current features of the Payment Flexibility Programme, Dell said.

"The Payment Flexibility Program is the most comprehensive infrastructure financing program in the industry, made even stronger by Dell Technologies On Demand flexible consumption models," Wavro commented. "This is our commitment to help you run your business, take care of your people and access essential technology as you seek respite in the storm."
