Digital transformation specialist Atos has announced a partnership with Ingram Micro for the distribution of its Unify unified communications (UCC) portfolio.

Effective immediately, the deal means Ingram Micro’s UK reseller partners will have access to the entire range of Unify products, which includes its OpenScape UCC range and its enterprise collaboration solution Circuit.

Building on the pair’s long-standing relationship, Atos said the agreement accelerates its UK channel strategy, enabling the business to use Ingram Micro’s channel experience in innovation and accountability, as well as its training support programmes.

“I’m delighted that the UK is at the forefront of this new dimension to our relationship with Ingram Micro,” commented Stuart Aldridge, SVP of Unify Sales UK&I at Atos. “The rapid growth in cloud-based adoption of enterprise technology requires distribution with un-rivalled agility, profound market insights and dependability which Ingram Micro has demonstrated from decades of proven relationships.”

Atos’ Unify brand provides end-to-end communications software and services, designed to facilitate collaboration and digital transformation, as well as manage unified communications network infrastructure, security and managed and professional services for businesses.

The family of products includes its OpenScape line of UCC applications, HiPath converged enterprise communications, as well as its Circuit SaaS offering.

Ingram Micro partners will begin seeing the fruits of this latest initiative over the summer, Atos said, which will include exclusive product bundles to enable resellers to rapidly on-board the Unify portfolio to businesses of all sizes.

“Unify offerings support Ingram Micro’s solution driven approach to Unified Communications and Collaboration,” said Colin McGregor, GM of Ingram Micro's Datacenter, UCC & Business Development division. “With a complete platform and portfolio enabling users from desk to meeting room, Unify allows Ingram Micro’s customers’ to transition seamlessly from traditional on premise to the cloud.”
