Avaya has revealed Knowmail and over.ai have become the latest partners to join its AI Connect ecosystem, allowing the growth of its unified communications platform to include enhanced artificial intelligence capabilities.

The company has also strengthened its presence in the contact centre sector, by extending its agreement with existing partner Verint. Customers will be able to access a wider spread of AI-enabled services to deliver better insights using text and speech tools.

Knowmail’s addition to the Avaya environment helps employees manage their email, thanks to the power of AI. The service offers a secure way of identifying email priority using visual, voice, or mixed experiences to personalise the way emails are delivered to workers, thereby improving productivity.

“Through our relationship, Knowmail and Avaya are capable of delivering a wholly new productivity experience, offering email prioritisation by urgency, along with predicted next-best-actions to increase focus, quickly get things done, save time, and stay organised, all within the Avaya Vantage desktop smartphone,” Haim Senior, CEO of Knowmail said. “This allows professionals more focus and flexibility in their workday, completing urgent tasks even before they can boot and login to their computer in the morning.”

Over-ai uses language processing to foster natural dialogue between humans and machines. Its voice-enabled AI will streamline communications on Avaya’s platforms, evaluating conversations and providing insights into how customer experience can be improved.

“Avaya’s deep expertise in creating communications and collaboration experiences for enterprise workers leverages AI capabilities for natural language understanding and personal assistants,” said Eric Rossman, Avaya vice president of alliances and partnerships.

“With the addition of new AI solutions from companies like Knowmail, over.ai and others, our AI Connect initiative continues to expand the ecosystem helping to provide optimal AI capabilities for strengthening workforce engagement across omnichannel communications.”
