Synaxon UK strikes partnership with print products distributor UFP

Shaking hands

Channel services group Synaxon UK has announced a new partnership with specialist print products distributor UFP.

The agreement means resellers now have access to UFP’s expansive specialist print and IT portfolio through Synaxon's online procurement platform EGIS.

The addition of UFP brings the total number of distributors on the platform to 40 and broadens the range of offerings available to resellers, retailers, and office product suppliers, Synaxon said.

“UFP is a really valuable addition to EGIS. It’s a thriving and dynamic business built on delivering the best products and services and we’re delighted to have them onboard,” commented Mike Barron, managing director of Synaxon UK.

“In our view, EGIS is the best procurement platform in the UK channel and with over two million products available from 40 distributors – including all the leading names – it provides resellers, web stores and office products dealers with great choice, great service, and great value.”

Founded in Paris in 1981, UFP has built a far-reaching presence across Europe, with annual sales of over £108 million. The distributor employs 750 people, with 125 of those based at its UK headquarters in Bradford, East Yorkshire.

UFP is an authorised distributor for a host of leading vendors, including Apple, Brother, Canon, Dell, Epson, HP, IBM, Kyocera, Lenovo, Lexmark, Logitech, NETGEAR, OKI, Samsung, and Xerox.

As well as print devices, UFP also offers networking, peripherals, data storage, mobile accessories, as well as other tech products for delivery throughout the UK.

“Our partnership with Synaxon UK will help us to reach out to even more resellers and dealers and allow them to take advantage of UFP’s services,” said Adam Collier, general manager at UFP.

“Our business is built on hard work, honesty, and relationships – a partner you can rely on. We’re keen to show Synaxon UK partners how that translates into excellence in choice, value, and service for their business.”
