Canon has cut the ribbon on two new business centres based in Crawley, West Sussex, and Munster, Ireland, which will provide print and document management expertise in collaboration with local Platinum Partners.

The new hubs, which operate under the names Canon Business Centre Munster (CBC Munster) and Canon Business Centre SOS (CBC SOS), follow in the footsteps of the firm’s successful Newcastle-based Canon Business Centre North East, which opened back in 2020.

The first in their respective regions, Canon says both CBCs will provide local businesses with advice and technology solutions that are tailored to their individual needs.

To do this, the pair will combine its portfolio with the expertise of a local reseller and Platinum Partner in each region – SOS Systems in Crawley, and Cantec Group, based in Waterford, Ireland.

“Cantec and SOS are two trusted partners we have been working alongside for many years and share many of the same values, including an ambition to deliver the best customer service and innovation to our customers,” said Stuart Miller, director of B2B indirect sales at Canon UK&I.

“By partnering together to create these two new CBCs, we hope to deliver even stronger support to local businesses, offering award-winning solutions which will help them to grow in these challenging times.”

Established in 1985, long-standing Canon collaborator SOS Systems boasts a customer base that stretches across the South of England across multiple sectors.

With a focus on customer service, flexibility, and innovation expertise, the company provides print, document, and information management solutions, as well as guidance on wider business initiatives such as digital transformation.

“We’re delighted to be collaborating with Canon on this exciting project – which marks a huge step in our 32 years of working together,” said Chris Sills, managing director at SOS Systems.

“Today more than ever before, local businesses are seeking out ways to save costs, boost profits and optimise processes – our new CBC SOS supports this ambition and we’re looking forward to helping local businesses grow and succeed.”

Fellow Canon Platinum Partner Cantec specialises in delivering integrated hardware and software solutions. The firm was founded in 1994 as a photocopier dealership and has since grown to become a prominent name in the provision of technology solutions, opening offices in Limerick, Mullingar, Dublin, and Cork.

“After 28 years of partnership with Canon, we’re excited to be opening the first CBC in Ireland – offering us the opportunity to support local businesses and find new ways to help them enhance their processes,” said Greg Tuohy, CEO at Cantec .

Canon UK&I said will continue to work alongside other partners in the regions and across the UK.
