What can you expect from the event?
People attending the event can expect to gain an understanding of the benefits of running research workloads in the cloud, learn how institutes are using the cloud to teach cloud architecture to their students, and see how central IT in universities/institutions are adopting the cloud to drive efficiency and reduce costs.
The event also aims to create an open forum where universities and institutes throughout the UK can share and learn from their experiences in the cloud.
Also on the day will be technical demos and the chance to network with the AWS Solutions Architect Team and industry peers.
The AWS Solutions Architect Team are genuinely interested to hear about the challenges that the education community face and will be on hand to provide complimentary architecture advice for any projects you may be considering.
Who should attend?
The event is aimed at lecturers involved in research or who are teaching cloud-related topics, IT operations/infrastructure engineers and system administrators as well as IT managers, CTOs and directors.
