UK Cloud Awards reveals 2017 shortlist

Did your entry make the shortlist for this year's awards?

UK Cloud awards

UK Cloud Awards judges have read through hundreds of entries to produce a shortlist of 65 companies, projects and personalities driving cloud innovation today.

First launched in 2014 by Cloud Pro and the Cloud Industry Forum (CIF), the awards recognise entrepreneurialism, technical excellence and innovative products and projects in the UK cloud sector.

A panel of expert judges will announce the winners of the fourth UK Cloud Awards at a ceremony at OXO2 London on 15 March, sponsored by T-Systems ScienceLogic, Ensono, Sungard AS, and TechData.

Alex Hilton, CEO of CIF, said: "This is the fourth time that we have had to whittle down hundreds of outstanding entries for the UK Cloud Awards and this has been the most challenging year yet.

"We are seeing phenomenal innovation and truly transformational use of cloud services. The depth, strength and maturity of the cloud industry in the UK is apparent. Standout categories include the cloud-first approach of public sector, innovative SMB plus large scale enterprise migration projects.

"It's going to be extremely difficult to pick the winners in these categories and we would like to congratulate everyone that has got this far. I would like to take the opportunity to wish everyone that has made the cut the best of luck at the ceremony."

Max Cooter, founding editor of Cloud Pro and head judge for the UK Cloud Awards, added: "When we started the awards, cloud technology was in its infancy and companies had yet to realise the potential benefits that it has to offer. That is no longer the case and this year's entries have emphasised the outstanding work that vendors, suppliers and individuals have contributed to the UK cloud market.

"I would like to congratulate everyone that has been shortlisted and let everyone know that the process of choosing the winners is going to be the most challenging decision yet."
