Arrow has announced it has joined the Red Hat Certified Cloud and Service Provider programme, allowing it to distribute the company's hybrid cloud solutions to its channel customers in the UK.

Now customers and independent software vendors can benefit from Arrow's extensive partner network, which in turn, will be fully supported to sell Red Hat's innovations.

The products Arrow will be selling will help cloud hosting, system integrators and managed service providers resell Red Hat's full range of products using its on-demand, via multi-tenant, dedicated, and managed models.

Arrow's partners will be fully supported with an always-on, always-available infrastructure support network that will help its partners generate the maximum income from selling on Red Hat's portfolio.

“We are excited to work with Arrow as a Red Hat Certified Cloud and Service Provider and part of the Red Hat partner ecosystem,” said Mike Ferris, vice president, business development, Red Hat.

“We are committed to offering customers and developers broad choice in the cloud, and a key to that vision is building a strong ecosystem of partners that can enable users to build and deploy the best applications possible. We look forward to collaborating with Arrow as it grows its cloud offerings with Red Hat.”

Red Hat's Certified Cloud and Service Provider programme required Arrow to get validated. This process involved the company demonstrating it could meet testing and certification requirements including delivering a scalable and consistent place for enterprises to run their cloud application deployments. The certification will give customers, ISVs, and partners the reassurance they need that Arrow has the expertise to sell Red Hat solutions.
