Sharp expands A4 MFP and printer range

MFP printing

Sharp has announced the addition of 12 new A4 Workgroup MFPs and printers to its line-up, which the firm says are ideal for environments where space may be at a premium.

The new additions include seven MFP models and five printers, which are split between colour and mono models and range from 33ppm to 66ppm in speed. They also include industry-leading security features and Sharp’s acclaimed touchscreen user interface.

“Sharp’s portfolio of A3 and A4 devices has gone from strength to strength, with our offering now bolstered by 25 new models in 2020 alone,” commented Ben Lake, senior product manager at Sharp.

“The new devices announced today each hold the highest standards in the field, with Sharp’s award-winning common user interface, best-in-class security and enhanced productivity features.”

Building on the previous expansion of the range earlier this year, the new models consist of five colour and two mono MFPs, as well as three colour and two mono printers.

Sharp says the devices’ compact design and flexibility to add extra paper trays ensures a “fast and easy” installation as a floor-standing or desktop addition to the workspace.

They’ve been specifically designed to suit a variety of office layouts and to easily integrate with a connected workplace – enabling efficient access to a range of cloud services such as Box and Dropbox.

This simple integration into existing network applications and public cloud services allows information to be securely shared and accessed anywhere and at any time, the firm says, ultimately helping to boost productivity and flexibility in the new-look, post-COVID-19 working landscape.

The new MSPs and printers also come complete with enhanced productivity features, including the ability to feed multiple envelopes from the standard or bypass paper draw, Sharp added.
