TikTok, a social media service that boasts 500 million global monthly active users, has announced the launch of TikTok for Business

In a blog post written by Katie Puris, TikTok's managing director of Global Business Marketing, the company says that while businesses have found success on TikTok already, but there’s an opportunity to do more. “

TikTok For Business solutions are designed to give brands and marketers the tools to be creative storytellers and meaningfully engage with the TikTok community.”

The new site launches with a portfolio of TikTok ad formats that businesses can use including TopView, Brand Takeovers, In-Feed Videos and Hashtag Challenges. While all these have been previously available, they are now under one umbrella.

As TikTok launches TikTok for Business, it’s also revealing a new ad format for AR Branded Effects. “Today, we are also excited to announce our latest AR Branded Effect called Branded Scan, a new product that allows users to have an augmented reality experience with any brand.”

TikTok is also introducing an e-learning center to help marketers find and use the ad products that will work best for them. The blog post doesn’t reveal pricing, but TikTok’s Business Help Center does state that a $50 minimum daily or lifetime budget is required.

TikTok has been one of the biggest names in social media over the last year, but it hasn’t been perfect. Last month Google deleted 8 million negative TikTok reviews on its Google Play Store for the app.
