Celona and NTT have signed a new pact to bring private 5G solutions to enterprises.

NTT’s industrial-grade 5G wireless network connects onsite teams and devices with the cloud. According to NTT, its 5G service complements digital transformation goals set by chief information officers and chief digital officers.

Per the new deal, Celona will contribute to NTT’s Private 5G (P5G) service. Through network and policy automation, Celona will help simplify large-scale 5G deployments. The Celona-NTT partnership is also aimed at securing device and application network segmentation within organizations.

Businesses will also benefit from a standardized, centrally managed global implementation that offers shared and licensed private spectrum options. Additionally, users can leverage NTT’s software-defined operational model to measure and monitor key performance indicators.

“Enterprises are looking to leverage Celona’s 5G LAN solution-as-a-service globally at scale,” said Rajeev Shah, Celona co-founder and CEO.

“By partnering with NTT to deliver the P5G platform, we can offer clients secure mobile connectivity with wire-like predictability and world-class performance. Together, we’re setting an industry benchmark for unlocking new applications for the future of digital business initiatives.”

NTTVC, an independent venture capital firm formed in partnership with NTT, spearheaded the Celona and NTT collaboration to deliver P5G.

“At NTTVC, our strategy is to help startups harness the Power of Partnership to take their business to new heights,” said Vab Goel, founding partner of NTTVC.

Goel continued, “When we invested in Celona, we knew there was a huge opportunity for us to open doors within NTT for the co-creation of innovative new service offerings. P5G is a shining example of what is possible when we help our portfolio companies tap into NTT's impressive ecosystem.”
