Internet of Things (IoT) carrier 1NCE and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have partnered to make 1NCE's cloud-native IoT offering more accessible to its customers around the world.

The collaboration expands 1NCE's IoT platform globally through AWS’ infrastructure while also enhancing its overall performance. Using 1NCE's software offerings on AWS, developers can easily incorporate cellular IoT connectivity into custom applications with plug-and-play capabilities.

Additionally, the 1NCE-AWS deal will deepen ties between the two firms and foster the deployment of IoT projects worldwide through next-gen IoT software.

1NCE CTO Younes Allaki said: "This intensified engagement with AWS also allows us to boost our network and IoT software portfolio at greatly improved conditions and with the appropriate know-how.”

"We can leverage synergies between the AWS infrastructure and our IoT platform which helps us to develop our next Level IoT Software at low costs. This is a prerequisite to implement new features into our existing IoT Flat Rate offering, like protocol conversion, energy management and localization services."

Among the mobile communication standards 1NCE supports with Deutsche Telekom AG and its roaming partners are 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, NB-IoT, and LTE-M. A pioneer of IoT flat rates, 1NCE offers a 10-year subscription plan for enterprise IoT devices for $10.
