Silver Peak has launched a new global channel programme that’s designed to help partners capitalise on the “burgeoning” software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN) opportunity.

The new channel programme is fundamental to Silver Peak’s global go-to-market strategy, says the vendor.

“Silver Peak is providing an unprecedented opportunity for partners to help their customers reduce the high cost and complexity of MPLS networking by deploying broadband,” says Bob Bruce, SVP of worldwide channel sales, Silver Peak.

“By increasing our channel investments and building relevancy around the SD-WAN opportunity, Silver Peak will intensify our focus on helping partners acquire net-new accounts. Ultimately, this programme makes doing business with Silver Peak even easier, which is the key to sustaining our leadership in the SD-WAN market.”

The new programme comprises three levels: Summit, Ascent, and Registered. As partners invest in Silver Peak and achieve specific milestones, they advance through the programme and receive additional Silver Peak support and benefits.

Silver Peak is also offering new SD-WAN certification training for both sales professionals and system engineers.

In addition, it has redesigned its partner portal, Basecamp, to reduce partner on-boarding time as well as being an on-demand resource for training and enablement, as well as sales and marketing tools.

A mobile app, meanwhile, allows partners to find Silver Peak information on the move.
