Cloud cyber resilience specialist Accurics has unveiled its new channel partner programme, which it says offers a developer-first approach to cloud security that is in tune with the era of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

The initiative aims to help clients codify security throughout the development lifecycle, facilitating self-healing cloud-native infrastructure and ensuring end-to-end security across all cloud applications.

"The Accurics channel program reflects the fundamental principle that a developer-first approach is vital for optimising cloud security," commented Alex Ausmanas, vice president of Sales and Partnerships at Accurics. "Our solution reduces risk by implementing security guardrails early in the development lifecycle, and this strategy takes those benefits even further."

The rise of innovative cloud-native technologies such as Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm and Kustomize has fuelled innovation but also brought about a high level of risk. According to Accurics, over 30 billion records have been exposed through 200-plus breaches in the last few years.

The security firm's solution protects against these kinds of cloud security breaches using a multi-level approach that ties together security during development and security during production.

First, the offering resolves potential risks at the code level before cloud infrastructure is provisioned, with a secure baseline then established. Then it keeps infrastructure secure by continuously monitoring production environments for changes that introduce risk and offering developers the required fix.

When fixes are required, the solution remediates issues through developer workflows. This ensures that the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) remains the single source of truth, Accurics says, and allows teams to deploy fixes quickly.

The solution incorporates Policy as Code, Security as Code, Drift as Code, as well as Remediation as Code as part of its developer-first philosophy.

The new Accurics channel partner programme is launching with established partners, including hybrid cloud and DevOps services provider DigitalOnUs, tech consultation firm Consortium Networks, Cyber risk services consultants ImagineX Consulting, as well as tech provider CBTS.

“We’re proud to be joined by some of the greatest innovators in the channel arena who are enabling digital transformation for customers, and we’re proud to serve them through a truly differentiated solution supporting cyber resilience,” Ausmanas added.
