ConnectWise partners promised cyber security growth with new programme launch
Company says it will provide more proactive sales support for those looking to grow their service offering

Business automation software provider ConnectWise has announced a new channel partner programme designed to help TSPs and MSPs grow their cyber security portfolios.
The new programme will provide partners with exclusive offerings, resources, and support to help boost profitability and scale, as well as meet growing market demand for managed cyber security solutions, the firm said.
At the heart of the initiative, ConnectWise has introduced a new Partner Development Manager role, which is dedicated to helping partners accelerate sales of managed security services.
“Partners told us they would value more proactive sales support on their journey to build leading cyber security practices, which is why our first priority with our new Partner Program is in this area,” explained Jason Magee, ConnectWise CEO.
“In addition to the partner development manager, a key differentiator of our program is the investment we have made to help TSPs establish and grow their cyber security business.”
ConnectWise says the new programme serves three key objectives: to help TSPs build a more strategic, trusted relationship with clients, to provide a world-class experience for partners and clients, and to help partners introduce new value-added services to their clients while accelerating partner business growth.
The initiative offers partners of all maturity levels a range of benefits – which include the new partner development manager, no-cost internal use licenses, market development funds, co-op marketing funds, and a free marketing concierge.
As businesses advance through the program, they can take advantage of increased benefits to help accelerate sales and marketing impact, ConnectWise added.
“Cyber security will represent about 50% of a TSP’s revenue by 2022 – but it can be challenging for TSPs to know where to start to get things off the ground, or continue their efforts,” explained Clint Maddox, CRO at ConnectWise.
“We’re introducing the Partner Program now because we realise most of our partners want to launch a new practice or do more to scale their existing offerings and we have the technical aptitude and resources to help them do that effectively.”
