LogMeIn brings LastPass Enterprise password tool to the channel

Managed service providers can now sell, manage, and support LogMeIn’s password management and single sign-on solution LastPass Enterprise, as well as offer it to their customers as an additional security application.

LogMeIn has said that MSPs can now access a new sub-account feature which was included in LastPass for a single view over numerous, uniquely-managed LastPass accounts. The new functionality aims to provide MSPs with increased visibility and control over every access point of their customer’s business.

Global Channels VP Rick Ribas said that LogMeIn is “lucky to work with best-in-class channel partners to promote our brands and bring our technology, solutions, and knowledge to our amazing customers around the world”.

“With 80 percent of data breaches caused by weak or reused passwords, it’s vital for MSPs who remotely manage a customer's IT infrastructure, to deliver an all-in-one solution for single sign-on and password management to meet the security and access needs of their customers,” he said, referring to this year’s Data Breach Investigations Report by Verizon.

“Now they can do so while seamlessly managing their customer LastPass accounts in a single pane of glass,” added Ribas.

The company also announced a live webinar to discuss the benefits of the LogMeIn Partner Network and demo the LastPass MSP solution, which will take place on Wednesday, 29 July at 6 pm BST. Those interested in attending are asked to register here.

The news comes as LogMeIn also revealed seven new hardware options for its GoToRoom huddle, conference and boardroom solution, in an effort to cater to both large office meeting spaces and the new normal of remote working.

GoToRoom, which was launched in March 2019, will now feature all-in-one video conferencing tools from partners Dolby, Logitech and Poly.

While LastPass Enterprise will be able to be offered by MSPs worldwide, GoToRoom is currently only available in the US, UK, Germany, Ireland, Austria, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, the Benelux and Nordic regions, and Australia.
