Qualys offers 60 days of free remote endpoint protection

Get 60 days of free remote endpoint protection to keep your remote team safe

While remote work is nothing new to many companies, most of them are entering a brand-new realm of security issues and more with the COVID-19 outbreak. This has led many tech companies to step up and offer their services free to businesses in need. Qualys is joining the growing list of companies providing freebies with 60 days of free remote endpoint protection.

This free offering allows businesses struggling to secure their newly remote team by giving their security teams access to the lightweight Qualys Cloud Agent to perform a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Completing an inventory of all remote endpoint hardware and the applications they are running
  • Gaining a real-time view of all critical vulnerabilities impacting the operating system and applications posing a risk to these devices
  • One-click remotely patching these systems within hours from the cloud without using VPN bandwidth
  • Realizing visibility in device hygiene by tracking common misconfigurations that leave the endpoints exposed to exploits

This will give your team instant and continuous visibility of all your remote computers. It also allows them to spot missing patches and other vulnerabilities and rectify them via the cloud.

Initially, current Qualys customers will be eligible for the free 60 days, but it will roll out to other clients by signup date. You can sign up for 60 days of remote endpoint protection here.
