Deloitte partners with Palo Alto Networks to extend its cyber security services

Deloitte aims to expand its managed security services portfolio worldwide

Deloitte has announced a new partnership with the global cybersecurity leader Palo Alto Networks.

The aim of the freshly minted partnership includes expanding Deloitte’s managed security services portfolio for customers worldwide. This partnership will also include the integration of Cortex XDR, Cortex XSOAR (formerly Demisto) and Prisma Cloud solutions into Deloitte’s EMEA Cybersphere Center security catalog.

According to the company’s announcement, Deloitte’s EMEA Cybersphere Center will now boast a tech-savvy setup that can carry out “security orchestration, automation, monitoring, and response tasks to tackle the most sophisticated threats detected in any environment.”

The partnership between the two companies has also seen the implementation of Palo Alto's Cortex XSOAR within Deloitte’s security operations center. This implementation will allow Deloitte’s team to increase its current capabilities, better preparing them to tackle complex cybersecurity threats on behalf of its customers as a result.

The integration of Cortex XDR and Prisma Cloud into Deloitte’s managed services portfolio will also allow Deloitte to further advance its threat-detection and response capabilities. These improvements are aimed at on-premise and cloud environments. Further, by providing tools for monitoring the security of these infrastructures, Prisma Cloud will assist customers in ensuring they’re adhering to regulatory compliance requirements.

“This partnership enables us to enhance the service that we provide to our clients and to combine the finest threat detection and response technologies with the development of technological processes and the experience of our professionals across all areas of cybersecurity. This represents a giant leap forward for our market growth strategy,” César Martín Lara, the risk advisory partner leading Deloitte’s cybersecurity practice, commented.

Christian Hentschel, president of Palo Alto Networks EMEA also spoke favorably of the partnership, adding, “We’re delighted to be partnering with Deloitte, not only helping them to deliver enhanced SOAR capabilities having implemented our technology in their own security operations centre, but also incorporating services around our wider Cortex and Prisma Cloud solutions.

"Together we look forward to helping customers around the world make each day more secure than the one before.”
