Stepping up to the top of Synology's family of large-scale business NAS appliances, the RS3617xs targets companies with big storage expansion plans and an eye on future 10-Gigabit (10GbE) upgrades. Coming in as a replacement for the RS3614xs, it offers the same base capacity but major improvements on processing power.
