Fujitsu has announced a €3 million investment in its SELECT Partner Programme, which the IT tech and services provider says will help enable partners better serve customers with digitisation.

The funding has been used to make a number of enhancements to the initiative, including new user-friendly tools, improved rebates, as well as broader access for partners to tap into Fujitsu’s transformation capabilities.

Fernanda Caterino, head of Channel at Fujitsu’s Alliances and Ecosystems division, said the changes will help partners capitalise on the upward trend of digital transformation, brought on by the global pandemic.

“We are enhancing and investing in our SELECT program to help our partners more easily take advantage of this opportunity and to make doing business with us easier and more productive than ever,” she said.

Fujitsu said its channel investment focuses on four pillars of partner enablement. The first focuses on Data Driven Transformation solutions, which are centered on helping customers store, access and monetise the multiple sources of data across complex organisations.

The second - Fujitsu Hybrid Cloud solutions - help ensure that the right workloads are allocated to the most appropriate clouds, while the firm’s Workplace Transformation portfolio is designed to maximise the efficiency of the new way of working.

The fourth pillar is based around Infrastructures for SAP Environments that transform enterprises’ data centre operations, Fujitsu said.

The refreshed SELECT portfolio will be supported by new training content via the Fujitsu Academy, while the rebate structure for Experts and Circle partners have also been enhanced. Partners specialising in key aspects of technology will receive additional accelerator rebates, the firm said.

Additionally, there are also new tools to facilitate collaborative business planning and demand generation, as well as a new Partner Dashboard for better accessibility and transparency.

Partners that excel in delivering the company’s four pillars are able to achieve the status of ‘Fujitsu Champions’ – a new category of partner that Fujitsu says will help catalyse new value creation within its Partner Ecosystem.

“The 2021 SELECT Partner Program makes our entire solutions portfolio more accessible and focuses on ensuring that partners can hone the skills necessary to deliver transformation – from enhancing technical know-how to acquiring consultative sales capabilities,” Caterino added.

“Regardless whether they are selling independently, or collaboratively via the partner ecosystem, we are setting them up to win.”
