Citrix appoints new partner director for Northern Europe

Citrix (NASDAQ:CTXS) has named Justin Sutton-Parker as its new partner director, Northern Europe.

The vendor says it is a “new, integrated” role, reporting to Citrix’s VP of partners in EMEA, Luca Marinelli. Sutton-Parker will be responsible for the growth and development of the Citrix partner ecosystem across the Northern Europe region, comprised of Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Norway, Sweden and the UK. The role will focus on managing a team of partner and account managers, as well as implementing programmes and go-to-market strategies with systems integrators, distributors and Citrix solutions advisors across the region.

With twenty-two years of in the tech industry, Sutton-Parker most recently spent ten years with HP in various roles including managing chief technologist, country leader for cloud service providers, global alliances director, Microsoft alliance director and public sector manager. He has also previously worked with CommVault, BT Engage and Avnet.

Citrix CEO Kirill Tatarinov recently said that channel partners play a “very important, very significant role” in securing the company’s move into the SMB space.
