IT software firm ConnectWise has unveiled its new unified platform Asio as part of a series of new product developments and programmes for IT solutions providers.
At its IT Nation Connect conference in Orlando, Florida, ConnectWise said the offering will provide infinite scalability, intelligent automation, value-added reporting insights, as well as open APIs for flexibility.
Asio also includes a single user interface, which enables partners to manage end user access and run all aspects of their businesses from a single screen.
The platform has been designed to help solution providers manage the demands of modern IT environments - such as physical and virtual endpoints, users, cloud applications and infrastructure, as well as the Internet of Things.
It also allows for shared services to be applied across all products, meaning duplicate work can be removed from the development flow and enhancements can be delivered more efficiently, ConnectWise added.

The company also announced a new ConnectWise RMM solution, which has been built upon the Asio platform to combine out-of-the-box automation with robust automation for delivering customised services to customers.
ConnectWise said the offering aggregates both software and human elements, covers the spectrum of do-it-yourself (DIY) and do-it-for-you (DIFY) delivery options, as well as integrates an intelligent automation engine.
Alongside these, ConnectWise announced plans to expand its cyber security offerings by opening up access to its partner programme to all businesses looking to build security practices.
Among its other announcements, the company unveiled a new Modes Theory methodology to help partners refine their business approach based on desired outcomes, an update to its ConnectWise Invent program for improved integration security, as well as a new online community for businesses which will arrive in the new year.
