Quorum lands growth investment from Serent Capital
Quorum will use the investment to expand its go-to-market activities and reach new markets
Quorum, a provider of software for public affairs professionals, announced today it’s secured a growth investment from Serent Capital, a private equity firm that invests in high-growth technology and services businesses.
Founded in 2014 by CEO Alex Wirth and CTO Jonathan Marks, Quorum is used by thousands of public affairs professionals nationwide and in over a dozen countries worldwide.
Quorum’s software empowers public affairs professionals to work smarter and provides solutions geared toward legislative tracking, stakeholder engagement and grassroots advocacy.
Quorum will use the growth investment to improve its platform and expand its go-to-market activities while also increasing its value to public affairs professionals worldwide, according to Quorum CEO Alex Wirth.
“Serent's resources and support, including their Growth and Human Capital teams, will allow us to continue to deliver a best-in-class product while expanding our capabilities and reach into new markets," Wirth said.
Kevin Frick, partner at Serent Capital, added: "Quorum has a unique opportunity to accelerate its already impressive growth and we look forward to supporting the management team as they grow existing customer relationships, reach new customers, extend their suite of offerings through new product investments, and enter new geographies."
Serent has actively invested in corporate, nonprofit, association and government end-markets. Its investment in Quorum marks Serent’s second in the government technology sector. Quorum also represents the private equity firm’s 13th investment in the nonprofit software and services market.
Headquartered in Washington, D.C. and with an international office in Brussels, Quorum works with Fortune 500 companies, trade associations, advocacy groups, nonprofits, and government agencies. Its clients include Walmart, General Motors, Human Rights Campaign, the United Nations Foundation and the Air Force.
