The future of social is boring. But that's not a bad thing, according to IBM CTO Jon Machtynger, as it means a more connected way of doing business will soon be so normal that it no longer seems new and exciting.
"I see those social capabilities becoming a lot more normal," he says, "in the same way that a mobile device is now pretty normal for most people, and having a GPS capability is pretty normal in this country. And having a camera is pretty normal in this country. I see the same with social."
