Rackspace has partnered with Digivante to offer artificial intelligence (AI)-based application testing services to its customers in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

The partnership will help significantly reduce testing cycle times for Rackspace customers, the companies have said.

Rackspace aims to capitalise on Digivante's automated continuous web testing tools, built using AI and machine learning (ML). Alongside usability testing, Digivante offers tools such as regression testing, accessibility testing, localisation testing, and cross-browser testing.

Furthermore, Digivante's testing portal generates automated reports that summarize actionable insights, allowing organizations to identify trends in quality, risk areas, and functional areas that are subject to change.

A REST API, available within the testing platform, also makes it possible to sync performance reports and test results with third-party project management tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps.

“With little or no automation, traditional manual application testing can be extremely time-consuming, error-prone and difficult to scale, often resulting in either poor quality applications deployed to production or significantly delayed releases,” said Daniel Berry,  Digivante CEO.

“Building automation into your testing and blending it with crowd testing in the right way reduces costs and increases velocity.”

According to Rackspace, Digivante will aid its customers in EMEA accelerate software delivery while simultaneously reducing testing cycle times.

“Application testing can be an unnecessary stress for businesses that already have a lot of challenges to overcome and are simply trying to deliver on customer expectations. Our joint offering with Digivante is a crucial step towards helping further augment the process for our customers and take the burden off their shoulders,” added Mahesh Desai, chief relationship officer, EMEA, at Rackspace Technology.

“App modernisation is a fundamental element of our customers’ ongoing cloud journeys, and this partnership enables us to help them to do so more easily.”
