SolarWinds has acquired federal services provider Monalytic for an undisclosed sum.

SolarWinds has long entrusted Monalytic with the services and training necessary to help its public sector clients achieve optimal performance in their mission-critical systems.

The monitoring and analytics firm boasts extensive experience in integrating SolarWinds with legacy systems, in addition to installing SolarWinds software in complex environments.

The acquisition will strengthen the existing IT management and security services currently supplied to federal clients, the companies explained, and will combine SolarWinds' IT management solutions with Monalytic's expertise in highly secure environments.

SolarWinds CEO Sudhakar Ramakrishna said: “We are thrilled to welcome the Monalytic team to SolarWinds. This acquisition will enhance our ability to serve our federal customers and Partners.”

“In supporting our federal customers for over a decade, Monalytic has proven its ability to operate in the most secure environments and deliver fantastic value.”

In their role as SolarWinds certified professionals, Monalytic consultants will continue to work closely with SolarWinds' partner ecosystem and reseller network. SolarWinds is also hiring a total of 16 employees from Monalytic and plans to uphold the firm's autonomous status.

Joint services and offerings are generally available through SolarWinds' preferred public sector partners and procurement services.

“For existing Monalytic customers, nothing will change – it will only get better,” said Greg Fetterhoff, president at Monalytic.

“We will continue to help organizations perform at their peak and reap the benefits of their SolarWinds investment, and it will be even easier for SolarWinds users to access our services. We will continue to team with the SolarWinds channel partners to meet program goals. And we will continue all operations, but with more resources to do it even better.”
